Tedium...

Stock take is hell... thank goodness it only happens once a year.  I have been at my desk for 7 days straight!  Who in their right mind wakes up at 6:30am on a Sunday to go into their office when they only left there at 7pm the night before.  Sheer and utter madness!!  I suppose this is the bonus of being the right hand woman of the Operations Manager.

Next weekend however is another story luckily.  Off to a wedding in the Free State, in the middle of nowhere, 8 hours drive from the big bad city.  Also means I get to take Monday off work as we will be driving back from said wedding.

Something weird however is going on...  Received an email from The Ex the other day, completely out of the blue, telling me what has happened in his life in the last 3 months.  Naturally I responded a few days later telling him how wonderful my life has been since we last spoke.  Wonder if he is going to mail me back?

Seeing... Or not seeing...?

So, this weekend I have a dinner...  And very likely the ex who ditched me the week before my 30th is going to be there and I haven't seen him since Christmas and I have decided to give up drinking for Lent so cannot even escape into the bottom of a white wine bottle to make myself feel better...  Probably for the best as it is incredibily likely that I would probably embarrass myself royaly if I drank too much!

And in other news...  Stock take at work is coming up and as a result work is kicking my ass!!!!

Speaking of which, I better go and get an ass kicking!
